The City of Coos Bay's moorage facilities are conveniently located near the heart of Coos Bay's downtown and are within easy walking distance of banking, shopping, restaurants, and etc. The Municipal Docks are adjacent to the Boardwalk and Harbor Tug display. Boating opportunities abound on the bay; easily accessible from the Municipal Docks. The city is happy to provide this facility for your use and hopes you enjoy your stay here. Moorage is governed by City Ordinance 217 and copies can be found at City Hall, 500 Central Avenue in the Finance Department.

The moorage facility is free for day-use. However, moorage fees are collected for any overnight or longer stay. These fees help defray the cost of maintenance and development of this facility. Presently, this facility has no water or trash service provided. We hope to be able to provide these services in the future.

Moorage agreement forms for all overnight or longer docking can be found at each of the docks or at City Hall. These forms must be filled out upon arrival and taken to the City Hall along with the appropriate fees as outlined below.
