The city did not receive a responsive proposal for the Historic Hollering Place Development project by the deadline in January. Although several developers expressed interest in the project, the indication was the timing for obtaining financing was poor. On advice of the city’s marketing and development consultant, the project information will remain available on the city’s website. The city will re-advertise for proposals when the economy has made a significant improvement. The project remains high on the goals of the City Council and Urban Renewal Agency.
